I have been missing in action because my right eye is out of commission due to a nasty scrape from a shard of popcorn kernel. Eye injuries are not any fun. Only tooth injuries are more personal, invasive and generally hard to work around. Well, I suppose if you got an amputation, that would be a bit harder to work around and so fucking on.

So I have been in and out of doctor's offices, emergency rooms, getting tests to see if I still have all of my cornea and making sure there isn't a big hole in it and generally walking around with a black eye patch but refusing to go "ARRRRRR!" I'm not that silly.

It's made it hard to work. My right eye is my dominant one and my left eye is my lazy one. So I have been dealing with terrible tension headaches as well as restrictions on driving and dealing with half of my face wanting to scrintch up.

It's been going on a month. I am sick of it. Dammit.
