The 10 Most Disastrous Saturday Morning Cartoon Adaptations Ever Made:
here )

I these are merchandise tie-ins, made popular in the 80's when too many cartoons were nothing but 30 minute infomercials but how can they miss the most nauseating cartoon ever made and that is:

The Care Bears.

They're remaking this monstrosity which is why I put it on this list. Another really awful, candy coated cartoon that overdosed on it's own cute is:

My Little Pony.

It was so bad that I didn't even want these toys in the house when my older daughter was growing up. Thank the gods that these terrible little plastic irritants didn't grab her.

Another product tie-in I find positively terrifying is:

Bratz

If you haven't heard, the idea man behind these awful dolls are being sued by Mattel for breach of contract because he was working for them at the time and made these dolls using Barbie parts. I don't normally agree with a large corporation suing a little guy, but in this case, he was stupid, careless and blasé about honouring his contract. He thought he would get away with it and, hey, he has the money to fight them now.

But bad cartoons that aren't product tie-ins but bad spoofs of popular shows I would put on this list is:

The Groovy Goolies.

Anybody remember this abysmal spoof of Laugh-In? The jokes were lame, the animation really bad—it was a Filmation work, after all—but never have I seen our classic monsters treated so badly. This show is like a bad acid trip with H.R. Pufinstuff style quick cuts and bad voice work.

Laugh-In was a pretty terrible show that has worn badly over the years. All the spoofs of that show, even worse.

Who would you nominate as your worst animation experiences? Include Anime if needed.
